Macmillan Coffee Morning

To all users of the centre and supporters.

We are pleased to be hosting a coffee morning at Southwater Community Centre in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday 30th September from 11:00 am.

 You are invited along.  If you can't make it, please spread the word to people in the area.  We look forward to seeing you.

Tales of Two Souths Art Exhibition at Southwater Area Community Centre

We are pleased to invite you to another of our ever popular Art Exhibitions here at Southwater Area Community Centre

'Tale of Two Souths' is Nick Hill's 5th exhibition and is a departure in his practice.  His recent paintings consist mainly of images of the South of England and the South of France, including some of his more surreal work.  Guest artists Sue Wells, Trisha Oakland, Roger Upton and SHON will also be exhibiting.  The proceeds of Nick's sales will be donated to the Alzheimer's Society.

Private view - Thursday 1st September from 6:00 to 8:00pm
Public viewing 1st - 16th September 9:00am to 5:00pm

A message from Annie Goddard

To everyone I did not get a chance to say goodbye to, I would like to thank you all for their help and support that I received while I was Centre Manager.  I have retired from 8th July 2016.

 
Rod Smith has taken over as Centre Manager, Monday - Friday  9:15am to 1:15pm and will continue to run the centre efficiently and professionally

I would also like to add my thanks to Annie for her help while I have been working alongside her and making the transition a smooth one.  I look forward to meeting those of you who I haven't already met.
